Hotel Professionally Quite Acceptable Montreal

10.30

Hotel Professionally Quite Acceptable, Montreal.

The sky is grey.

The Little Luvvie has called from Bredonborough to tell me that the Christmas tree is up in the Market Square; that the expensive restaurant in town has been sold & the chef has opened a new restaurant in Birmingham; and other local & personal excitements.

Here in Montreal we have a lobby call for soundcheck at 15.15.

Calisthenics await. My particular focus is currently the Finger Pivot, a particularly difficult movement which stops notes at the same fret on adjoining strings. Once widely introduced on early GC courses, now less so.
